We celebrated the World Heart day in Woodlands hospital, Kolkata on September 30, 2019. The program was attended by eminent Cardiologists of the city, v.i.z., Dr S B Roy, Prof Dr Bhabatosh Biswas, Dr Achyut Sarkar, Dr Soumik Ghosh, Dr Indrani Guha, Dr Hema Malathi Rath, Dr Anasua Banerjee, along with the other Cardiologist doctors, nursing staff and employees of the organisation.

The theme of the World Heart day, 2019 program in Woodlands Hospital, Kolkata was ?Heart of Heart Care?. The program commenced with a pledge read out by Dr Saptarshi Basu, Dy Medical Superintendent mentioning that we are here to take care not only of our Hearts but also take care of all our patients Heart care as well as the Heart care of the society. The employees also pledged to ?Serve from our Hearts, Serve with a Smile?.

Dr Rupali Basu, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer spoke on the impact for ?Heart of Heart Care? on all the care givers and the legacy of Woodlands Hospital being the first private hospital to conduct successful open heart surgery and Valve replacement in the City of Joy. Prof Dr Bhabotosh Biswas a renowned Cardiologist also spoke on the occasion mentioning care for the cardiac patients are taken up in Woodlands Hospital, Kolkata through specialised wards, patients are really treated for their Hearts through specialised equipment?s and by serving the patients from the core of the Heart by the trained nurses and care givers.

The colourful program culminated with the unveiling of the ?Heart of Heart Care? posters, and release of coloured balloons with promise to care from the hearts forever by the eminent Cardiologists present along with the employees of the organisation.
