Eligibility for Admission
1. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st Dec of the year of admission.
2. The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of: Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination. (12 years course) or Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), or an equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with Science ( Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (PCBE).
Entrance / Selection test
Selection of the candidates should be based on the merit of the Joint Entrance Examination held by JENPARH.
Students are admitted strictly through online counselling by the Central Selection Committee (Nursing) constituted for the purpose of admission in all the Nursing Colleges of West Bengal. No management quota or direct admission is allowed.
Result of Joint Entrance Examination held by JENPARH will be published on 15.07.14 after 5.30 pm. The dates of online counselling will be notified in the newspaper or the following website:

Medical examination
Medical fitness will be a precondition for admission to the institute. Selected candidates will be medically examined by a Medical Board of the institute constituted for the purpose.
