Dr. Roychowdhury completed post graduation from University of Calcutta. He has done M.Phil from University of Utah, Salt Lake City & F.A.C.P. from University of Pittsburgh, USA. He earned over 17 years of experience in India and abroad with premium tertiary care hospitals. Prior to joining Woodlands Hospital he has worked in the Department of Internal & Critical Care Medicine of Francism Health System & Bloomsburg Hospital, Uniited States.

Clinical Expertise / Interests

Dr. Roychowdhury has worked as an intensivist and specializes in treating patients with critical illness. During his stay at hospitals in USA he was actively involved in performing Rapid Sequence Intubation, Central Venous Line, Arterial Lines, Thoracentesis, Fiberoptic Bronchosopy via Endotracheal Tube etc. His field of interest is general medicine including critical care, infectious and respiratory diseases.

Academic Experience

Dr. Roychowdhury has a keen interest in research and publication and has several publications in national and international journals to his credit. He also explored in the areas of human genetic disorders .He is actively involved in teaching for the residency programs at Family Practice Residency Community Health Care, Western University of Health Sciences and University of Illinois, United States.
