Prof. Dr. G.K Prusty, MCh (Neurosurgery) from NIMHANS, Bengaluru is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He had advance training at the premier institutes like University of Tubingen, Duisberg and Ulm, Germany ; Hyogo Brain Centre, Japan; Royal Alfred, Australia and Regional Neurological Centre, UK in the field of Brain, Nerve and Spine. Prior to joining Woodlands Hospital he served at CMC Vellore, NIMHANS and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute, Trivandrum in various teaching capacity. An adept Neurosurgeon Dr Prusty is credited with more than 8000 successful surgeries during the rich career plan of more than three decades. The wide range of ailments treated by him includes brain and pituitary tumors, spinal microsurgery and peripheral nerve surgery. His scientific research and clinical publications are well reviewedin Research gate and Google scholar. His contributions in the field has bestowed him with the coveted honour of President of Association of Neuroscientists of Eastern India and in the International arena Member of Board of Advisors of the INTs. He is actively associated with the Indian Association of Paediatric Neurosurgery, Epilepsy association, Soceity for Stereotactic and Functional neurosrgery.
