She passed MD Pediatric Medicine from Medical College , Kolkata , subsequently finished MRCPCH UK.Then went to do a short term fellowship in Pediatric Neurology from PGIMER Chandigarh, then completed DM in Neurology from Bangur Institute of Neuroscience s, IPGMER Kolkata.She also did Mini Movement Disorder Fellowship from Nebraska, USA. She has been faculty in numerous National level conference. She is a member of National Task force for few Neurological Disease s like SMA and Wilsons disease. She has over 30 publications in reputed International and National journals. She has been the past Secretary of Society of Pediatric Neurology ( West Bengal ).

Her special areas of interest are Pediatric Neurology, Movement disorders , Epilepsy and Stroke. She is a keen ,dedicated doctor with a compassionate bend of mind.
