Dr. Banerjee completed Master of Surgery from University of Calcutta, India. He completed FRCS from The Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and England. He has also done Diplomat of National Board in Surgery. Dr. Banerjee has over 25 years of experience in India and abroad with premium tertiary care hospital. Prior to joining Woodlands Hospital, he worked at Oxford Regional Health Authority of Oxford University, UK. He was also associated with Royal South Hants Hospital, Southampton University & Royal Bournemouth Hospital, UK.

Clinical Expertise / Interests

Dr. Banerjee is adept in performing a wide range of General Surgery and all type of Laparoscopic and GI Oncosurgery Procedures. He has performed numerous Gastrointestinal, Breast and Endocrine procedures. He is an authority in Colorectal Surgery and had large series in area of complex Laparoscopic Surgery.

Academic Experience

He has a keen interest in research and publication and has several publications in national and international journals to his credit. He is also actively involved in CME's and teaching programs. He was also an examiner in surgery for MBBS final examination in Kolkata.
