He did MD in General Medicine from Post Graduate Institution of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, India (PGI) MRCP (UK) and FRCP (LONDON). 40 years of practicing in General Medicine at abroad and in India. 15years of experience in teaching of Post Graduate Medical students (MD in General Medicine) at Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences, Kolkata as Professor and Head of the department of General Medicine.
